ROOM 06
The Temple
The Temple is where philosophy becomes embodied. Mind, body, and spirit are practiced until awareness becomes visible.
Mind
Thought becomes environment. The mind is trained by what it repeatedly attends to, rehearses, believes, and permits.
Practice: observe one recurring thought without arguing with it.
Body
The body is not separate from philosophy. Strength, nutrition, breath, sleep, recovery, and movement reveal the truth of what is practiced.
Practice: complete one physical discipline before negotiation begins.
Spirit
Spirit is orientation: toward meaning, truth, responsibility, reverence, and the quiet recognition that life is not random material.
Practice: begin the day by asking what you are serving.
Daily disciplines are architecture.
Movement
Train the body to teach the mind evidence.
Breath
Return to the present through the body’s oldest rhythm.
Recovery
Rest is not retreat. It is integration.
Environment
Shape the room that shapes your attention.
